Privacy Policy
How this website handles personal data.
Template — not legal advice. A starting point only. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer and complete the bracketed details before publishing. Last updated: 28 June 2026.
Who we are
This website (kerplace.com) is operated by [legal entity name], [registered address], [tax ID / NIF/CIF] (“we”, “us”). For any privacy matter, contact support@kerplace.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
What data we process
This is an informational website, and we keep data to a minimum:
- Server logs. Like any web server, our host records technical data when you visit — IP address, browser/user-agent, the pages requested, and timestamps — to operate and secure the site.
- Email you send us. If you contact
support@kerplace.com, we process your message and your email address in order to reply.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
Why, and on what legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Operating and securing the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Replying to your enquiries — legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract.
- Any optional analytics or non-essential cookies — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); see the Cookie Policy.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting / infrastructure provider (e.g. AWS), acting as a processor on our behalf.
- Authorities, where legally required.
We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
International transfers
If our hosting region is outside the EEA, any transfer is protected by an appropriate safeguard (e.g. the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
Server logs are retained for [e.g. up to 90 days] and then deleted or anonymised. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing. To exercise any of these, email support@kerplace.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
